Before Your Tattoo

1) Get a good nights sleep, and eat a big meal beforehand

2) Drink a plenty of water

3) Avoid alcohol the day before. This will thin your blood ( yes even the next day) and make it difficult, if not impossible to tattoo you

4) Do not take any painkillers, blood thinners, or illicit drugs for the same reasons as #3

5) Bring snacks, a drink, a phone charger, and maybe some headphones

6) Dress comfortably, and appropriately, and in dark colors to avoid ink/blood stains ie, tank top if you’re getting your arm worked on, shorts if it’s your leg etc.

7) Stretch beforehand; you’ll be in the same position for a while
8) Stay calm- do breathing exercises or whatever it takes to get you to a zen-like state

9) Set aside more time than you think you’ll need. You don’t want to rush things
